Good Enough, Maybe

Fresh is best

My food doesn’t scream when I open the oven.
The kitchen remains intact.
I haven’t had to scrub any gunk
from cabinets or walls.

I’d still rather open packages
and eat whatever’s inside
than try to interpret recipes —
that measuring thing’s what size?
